Percival N Pitts

 General Notes:
The 1881 Census reported that Percival (aged 8) was a boarder together with Charles Hugh Harris Pitts at Lyveden in the parish of Wolborough, registration district of Newton Abbot. He was described as a scholar.
The Census of 5 April 1891 reported that Percival (aged 18) was living at South Allington House in Chivelstone, the family home.
Percival died aged 28 in a horse racing accident. He was a keen amateur jockey and broke his neck at a point to point race at Wrangton and died a few days later after being examined by a doctor. Peter Pitts (a descendent) has a photograph of him in racing colors on one of his own horses.
