Margaret married Frederick Lewis Maitland of Rankeillour, son of Charles Maitland - Sixth Earl of Lauderdale and Lady Elizabeth Ogilvy, on 27 Aug 1767. (Frederick Lewis Maitland of Rankeillour was born on 19 Jan 1730, christened on 20 Jan 1730 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland and died on 16 Dec 1786 in Rankeillour, Fife.)
