The engagement is announced between Eric Anderson Burner, Colonial Administrative Service (Gold Coast), elder son of engineer Lieutenant Commander Alfred Burner (late R.N.) and Mrs. Burner5, of Teignmouth, and Léonore Mary de Chanval, only daughter of Charles de C. Pellier of Highleigh, Teignmouth, and the late Mrs. Winifred Pellier.
Leonore married Eric Anderson Burner, son of Lieut Commander Alfred Burner and Adelaide Hobling, on 22 Aug 1934 in St Cyprian's Church - Kumasi, Ashanti, Gold Coast. (Eric Anderson Burner was born in 1897 in Blackheath.)
