In 1851 the family were in Dunstone cottage, Plympton St Mary
In 1861 they were living in Dunstone Villa, Yealmpton

• Parents Names. Son of William Giles (1764 - 1810) and Mary Hyme (1766? -)

Joseph married Maria Pitts, daughter of William Pitts and Mary Irish. (Maria Pitts was born in 1801 in Holbeton, Devon and died in 1879.)
