1841 Census:

James was living with his five children, the triplets, Caroline, James & Mary, together with Nathaniel and Robert. They were living with the Rider family at the back of George Street in East Stonehouse.

1861 Census:

James and Mary were living with their son Nathaniel at 10 Clarence Place, E. Stonehouse - James was described as a Greenwich Pensioner.

James married Mary Hill on 9 Mar 1820 in Stoke Damerel, Devonport. (Mary Hill was born in 1796.)
