William Harding, the son of William Harding and Ann Blood, was born at Farnsworth in Warwickshire in 1707 and baptised at Cole Hill Presbyterian, Tamworth in Warwickshire on 24 August of that year. William married Mary Bradburn, the daughter of John Bradburn of Winchester, at Wolvesley in Hampshire on 29 May 1738.
William Harding (sen.), the son of William Harding and Mary Pickard, was born about 1760, and married Ann Blood at Tamworth in Warwickshire on 6 November 1694. Ann Blood was born about 1674 at Tamworth and was baptised there on 12 June of that year.
William Harding (snr.) married a first cousin of Thomas Guy, Esq., (Founder of Guy's Hospital, London and the Almshouse and Town Hall, Tamworth).
