Edmund Arthur was a magistrate for Leicestershire.

Edmund Arthur Paget was educated with his elder brother John Paget, Jun., at the classical academy in Leicester of the Revd. Charles Berry (1783-1877). Berry was the minister of the Great Meeting Unitarial Chapel.

Leicestershire Regiment of Militia
The Queen has been pleased to accept of the resignation of Captain Edmund Arthur Paget of the Commission he holds in the above Regiment.

There are two marriage entries in the BMD. The first Edmund Arthur Paget - marriage in West London during the March quarter of 1858 to Martha Nedham (née Manners). The second, again to Martha Nedham, but in this instance the marriage was registered at Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire during the September quarter of the same year.
