Frances Moray was the daughter of James Moray of Abercairny. She married, firstly, George Drummond of Blair Drummond before 1767. She married, secondly, General Sir William Erskine of Torry, 1st Bt., son of Colonel William Erskine and Henrietta Baillie, on 29 May 1767.

James Moray, the son of William Moray (-1735), 12th of Abercairny and Elizabeth Graeme, was born at Abercairny, Perth in Scotland on 18 December 1705 - and died there on 13 June 1777.

Christian Montgomery, the daughter of Alexander Montgomery (1660-1728), 9th Earl of Eglington and Anna Gordon (1675-1708), was born about 1711 in Pershire, Scotland and died at Abercairny in Perthshire on 19 July 1748.
