Henry Charles Rochfort-Boyd
Lieutenant-Colonel. Born 13 October 1877, 2nd son of Col. C.A. Rochfort-Boyd, C.M.G., husband of Dorothy Rochfort-Boyd, of Belvedere House, Farnborough, Hants. He was at Charterhouse 1892-1894. He was commissioned into the Royal Horse Artillery and served with 16th Bde. In the Great War he was four times mentioned in despatches and was awarded the D.S.O. He died of wounds on 4th December 1817. His grave is at St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen.

Colonel Charles Augustus Rochfort-Boyd, C.M.G. was born 4 October 1850 in Dublin - he married firstly, Adeline Maude Felicia Longfield, daughter of Mountifort Longfield and Caroline Augusta Courtenay, 4 June 1874 - he married secondly, Grace Ethel Whiston, a widow, on 26 November 1906 - he died in 1940. His father was George Augustus Boyd, son of Abraham Boyd (1760-1822), (and Jane, Countess of Belvedere [-1836]), a Dublin barrister. On 16 November 1867 his name was legally changed to George Augustus Rochfort-Boyd by Royal Licence. George married Sarah Jane Woods. Geogre and Sarah also had a daughter, Edith Sarah Hamilton Rochfort-Boyd, Sarah was born about 1847.
