At the time of the marriage of Eliza Paget, Maria's sister, in 1858, Eliza was described as the only daughter of George Byng Paget, which strongly suggests that both Maria and Rosa Paget were already deceased. I have thus assumed that the death of a Maria Paget at Wolverhampton, during the March quarter of 1854, is the subject of this profile.
