Clive Bremner Cameron was born in New Zealand and graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand as an M.D. in 1959 & M.B. Ch. B. in 1945. His father was Major Clive Rutherford Cameron (1895-), and his paternal grandparents were William Robert Cameron and Eleena Agnes ????.
Major Clive Rutherford Cameron gained the rank of Major at Cairo, Egypt, in the service of the New Zealand Imperial War Graves Commission. He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.). He was married in New Zealand in 1920 to Aroha Margaret Bremner.
